Carl Belew
Despite recording eight albums between 1960 and 1972, Carl Belew is best remembered as a songwriter whose work includes all time favorites like "Stop The World And Let Me Off", "Am I That Easy To Forget", "Lonely Street" and "What's He Doin' In My World". While extremely popular with other singers, his own interpretations never brought him any major chart success. He also teamed up with Betty Jean Robinson for a duet album.
Carl Belew died in 1990 at age 59.
