Ed Bruce

Ed Bruce started as a rockabilly singer, recording for the famous SUN label, but never achieved any real commercial success. He finally switched over to country music in 1966, signing for RCA, but it took another nine years before he scored his first major hit ("Mamas, Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys", 1975).

Following this success, he scored several more hits, including three #1's with "Girls, Women And Ladies", "When You Fall In Love (Everything's A Waltz)" and "The Last Cowboy Song".
