Billy "Crash" Craddock

After an aborted career as a 60's teen idol, Billy returned to Country Music in 1971 and scored none less than eighteen top ten hits between 1971 and 1979, three of his songs went up to #1: "Rub It In" (1974), "Ruby Baby" (1975) and "Broken Down In Tiny Pieces" (1977). Lloyd played on all three #1 hits!  Billy's easy style and his sidesteps towards Easy Listening and Pop sounds also earned him the nickname "Mr. Country Rock".
