Stoney Edwards

Stoney Edwards never made it to the big time, yet he and his soulful honky tonk sound had a devoted following. His biggest hit was "She's My Rock" which stayed in the top 20 for over four months in 1973. His version of the Frazier/Owens song "Hank  Lefty Raised My Country Soul" became a country classic and indicated one more time his traditional musical heritage.
