Anthony Armstrong Jones
Anthony Armstrong Jones was discovered by Conway Twitty and toured with the Conway Twitty Show for two years. In 1968, he was signed by Chart Records and recorded several albums for the label, mostly a mix of country material and pop flavored songs. Especially the latter catefory brought him fame, his version of "Proud Mary" won him a gold record, the same happened with his biggest hit "Take A Letter, Maria". Lloyd's playing on "Proud Mary" is outstanding!
