Brenda Lee
Brenda Lee was one of the biggest pop stars around 1960, with major hits like "Sweet Nothin'", "I'm Sorry" and "Fool #1, following the same successful career path that Patsy Cline had taken, a perfect mix of country and pop sounds.
After some years with only modest chart success, she switched back to more country-oriented material under the guidance of producer Owen Bradley, hitting the top ten again with songs like "Four Poster Bed" and "Rock On Baby" around 1973/1974.
