Jerry Lee Lewis
It is widely unknown today that the "Killer", besides his fame as as one of the all time great rock 'n roll artists, also had a long string of #1 country hits in the late 60's and early 70's. Lloyd Green played on four of them:" To Make Love Sweeter For You" (1969), "There Must Be More To Love Than This" (1970), "Would You Take Another Chance" (1972) and "Chantilly Lace" (1972). The majority of his records from that period are far more country than rock 'n roll, although he remained to be totally unpredictable in his live appearances, playing the kind of music he liked best at the very moment.
