Hargus "Pig" Robbins
Hargus "Pig" Robbins (who is completely blind since age 7!) is perhaps the greatest pianist ever to grace a Nashville recording studio. He mainstayed an amazingly prolific career from the late 1950's into the new millenium, appearing on recordings of nearly every major country star as well as folk, rock and pop artists. He can be heard on most of Lloyd Green's solo albums, Lloyd also appeared on several of "Pig's" instrumental albums.
His steady quality of playing earned him wide recognition, including his election as CMA's "Instrumentalist Of The Year" in 1977.
