Red Sovine
Red Sovine started his career as early as 1948, soon becoming a regular member of the famous Louisiana Hayride in Sgreveport. He has a total of 31 chart entries to his credit, his biggest hit being "Why Baby Why" (a #1 duet with Webb Pierce in 1954) and his famous narrations "Little Rosa", "Giddy Up Go", "Phantom 309" and the million-seller "Teddy Bear" in 1976. Between 1971 and 1975 he recorded two albums for Chart Records, both featuring Lloyd Green on steel guitar and dobro.
