Hank Williams Jr.

The offspring of famous musicians often have a hard time creating a career for themselves, but Hank Williams Jr. is one of the few to develop a career that is not only successful but markedly different from his famous father. While his early recordings for MGM were mostly trying to sell him as "Hank's Son", he soon started to pursue a more independent line, resulting in a string of top hits, some of them ("All For The Love Of Sunshine", 1970, and "Eleven Roses", 1972, among them) even climbing up to #1.

The MGM recordings of Hank Williams Jr. usually stick to the traditional style of country music, compared to his later recordings that were heavily influenced by blues and rock music. The MGM sides have a lot of great Lloyd Green playing to be discovered!
