Faron Young
Faron Young's musical career goes back as far as the early 1950's when he started having huge success as "The Young Sheriff", playing and singing pure Hillbilly Music. In 1962 he left Capitol Records and signed a contract with Mercury, still maintaining his country roots. Lloyd played on most of his recordings in the late 60's and early 70's, including Faron's biggest hit of these years "It's Four In The Morning" which went to #1 in 1972.
The music recorded by Faron Young in those days is solid and melodic Country Music, perfectly fitting the famous "twinkle" in his voice. In addition, producer Jerry Kennedy provided lots of space for Lloyd to grace these records with his remarkable ideas and tasty creativity.
